Main Ingredients:

1. Anthocyanins

The results of a large number of studies show that the ingredient of the acai fruit berry powder mainly contains anthocyanins (ACNs), proanthocyanidins (PACs) and other flavonoids. Anthocyanin-3-glucoside and anthocyanin-3-rutinoside were analyzed as the main anthocyanin components. The total anthocyanin content was 3.1919 mg/g (DW). 2. Polyphenols

Acai fruit also contains fatty acids, sterols, nitrogen-based acids, polysaccharides, minerals and so on. Polyunsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids and saturated fatty acids accounted for 11.1%, 60.2% and 28.7% of the total fatty acid amount. 1. Antioxidant

A study (4 weeks, 35 healthy women) showed that consuming acai fruit powder increased catalase activity, total antioxidant capacity, and decreased reactive oxygen species production. Additionally, it led to a reduction in serum protein carbonyl concentrations and increased total serum sulfhydryl groups. These two indicators are associated with oxidative damage to proteins.

A randomized, double-blind, controlled study of 23 healthy men showed that short-term intake of acai fruit powder improved vascular function (as measured by brachial artery vasodilation function, or FMD). However, there were no significant improvements in blood pressure, heart rate, or postprandial glucose response.
